This is a review for SM-G930UZKAXAA. The ONLY non-carrier based, Samsung U.S. warranted, factory unlocked phone. Too bad Amazon lumps all the 'unlocked' S7 reviews together. This was very confusing as I gradually figured out that numerous overseas and carrier based versions of the S7 exist. I won't waste time reviewing the phone itself other than the primary differences that this version has.

1) - It is has both CDMA and GSM receivers optimized for the bands and channels used by U.S. carriers. In the U.S., Sprint, Verizon and U.S. Cellular use CDMA. AT&T and T-mobile use GSM. I.E. - it is theoretically compatible with any U.S. carrier allowing you to take your phone to any U.S. carrier including the pay as you go services such as Cricket, Boost, Virgin, etc. Set up flawlessly on my Cricket account.

2) It does not come pre-loaded with carrier bloatware. Although Samsung does load some of its own that can't be removed. The most irritating being Samsung pay which occasionally generates popups reminding you its available.

3) It is warranted by SAMSUNG with full U.S. warranty. No battery issues on the S7, but nice to know it's warranted if something similar to the Note 7 debacle happens.

4) Updates are pushed out directly from Samsung. Presumably at a quicker pace than from many experience from carrier versions. I have received one update so far in 60 days.

Truly unlocked, not like some of those things that need an American SIM to unlock in another country. I was very pleased with my purchase. My phone has heavy use. The battery life is great, the performance is a breath of fresh air. No problems with setting up - used the Samsung smart switch and my new phone was up and running within a day of setup, with all my years of history and prefered configurations.

This is my third Samsung Galaxy S series phone (had S3 first, then S4. My S4 is still completely fine - gave it to my husband for his personal use). That's the kind of thing I like. Highly recommended, I will buy an S9 or S10 next. No need for the next flagship phone. I believe in quality and long-lasting gadgets.

Flaw 1: Ordered 2 phones, received only 1 -- paid full price for 2.
Flaw 2: It's Verizon branded, thus doesn't work on other carriers such as Sprint. It's when you get something different than what the product image and description says.
Flaw 3: Return label says I have to pay for postage.

You can see on the image that it's Verizon branded. Just checked the IMEI, and as expected, Sprint didn't recognize it as unbranded/unlocked.
The second image shows the second phone I ordered. It's just my empty kitchen bar.

Exact US product needed. AT&T customers: Keep in mind AT&T says if you bring in an unlocked phone you will lose WIFI calling and Visual Voicemail. That was confirmed. What's not yet confirmed is if you don't receive the full LTE coverage. I'm on H+ in areas that I used to have LTE. Then on other days I have LTE in those same area. It's weird. But personally I don't see a difference in general browsing in public areas or Google Map issues when on H+ so it's OK for me at the moment. Just keep this in mind and walk into an AT&T store (not reseller or phone customer service) to ask specific questions.

In 2019 I thought I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S7 4G phone. Up until recently I didn't know any better, however thanks to AT&T changing to their 5G networks I discovered that my phone is actually a 3G phone that will not be compatible with their 5G network once it goes live. I was told I needed to purchase a new 4G or higher phone. Took the phone down to the AT&T store and the tech that works there said unfortunately when the phone was unlocked it was coded improperly and only works as a 3G phone. I tried to explain all this to the seller and was told that because I purchased the phone so long ago there was nothing they can do. Had it been any other issue on the phone I would agree. However when you purchase something in good faith that it is /does what it is represented to do and then find out it doesn't, that is fraud. Knowingly or not the seller is misrepresenting the facts. I would never purchase anything from this seller ever again and would suggest you don't either. Caveat Emptor! Buyer beware!

Bought this as a gift. I was skeptical at first because other reviewers were complaining of the phone battery life dying quickly. I tested it a couple of days before I gave it to my sister, running social media applications and games; you know, daily use. Well I can confidently say that the battery life is very good, and the condition of the phone came in brand new. Well money spent, and now my sister loves her bday gift! :D

So, this is the international version of the phone. After the Nougat update, some international S7's STOPPED RECEIVING CALLS/TEXTS. I missed job interviews, family calls, and even the message to notify my that my best friend's mother passed away. I encourage everyone to spend a little more money and just buy the American version. If you do buy this to be used in the states, TURN OFF wifi when expecting important calls and send a text out. If the text fails, send it again and the phone will temporarily have no issues receiving calls and texts.

For the first couple of months it worked well. In fact overall it worked except for the battery. It started going dead overnight. last night I charged both S7's in the evening. This morning this phone was down to 18%. My other s7 was at 75%. Several months after we bought it my wife tried to answer the phone. It cut off the other party. When I arrived home a short time later I checked and it had shut off. Battery was at zero. I try to not let it go below 20% but sometimes it discharges SO fast I dont catch it. It charged up ok but has done the same thing numerous times. I try to charge it every evening but it is only getting worse as example this morning. I frequently check the battery usage and shut down apps running in the background.

It turned out that this phone is from Hong Kong! Wanted to sell it after over 2 years of usage. Unfortunately nobody wants to buy it as it is chinese... A good phone overall though.

Phone arrived well-packaged and on time. Phone was sealed in original package. They kindly included a plug adapter as the one that comes with the phone is the European type (2 round prongs). Phone is working well on the Roger's network (Canada). Just added a second SIM card (Koodo, also Canada) it didn't work in the second slot, but when I switched the two it worked well. May have just been an issue with the Koodo SIM. It is very clear and easy to switch between the two SIMS for calls, texts and data. Loving this phone!

I thought purchasing this gold and unlocked S7 was the best idea until I actually received the phone and started having issues instantly. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The phone started to randomly restart and got stuck in boot loops (not a good sign). Now the phone won't turn on. Black screen, no notification lights and won't charge. I took it to a repair shop and was told the phone cannot be fixed. I purchased a $900 paperweight.

The fact that there is NO WARRANTY is too risky. Don't make the same mistake I did. Buy the S7 from an authorized Samsung retailer (which this seller is not) and sleep easy knowing you can get a replacement with a valid warranty.

(side note: I took very good care of this phone. purchased an expensive Otter case, never dropped it and it never made contact with water)

Everyone works fine except for the one major hit that the Wireless Charging completely doesn't work and no where wants to fix it.

And the Asia charger doesn't work with adapter. So it's useless. Goes to charge then 1% later it stops charging.

Great phone, great spec, it seems to be smaller although it is 5.1 in. The single thing i found as negative, is the figerprint sensor, sometimes it does not match wit my fingerprint and i have to try twice at least. I was used to fingerprint from Iphone.
