Works well, seems to be very solidly built. What'south squeamish is that you can identify information technology on the SUV tailgate, looking downward....makes hitch alignment a cakewalk...!! (The "license-plate" blazon support cams are also low, don't give a good view) Nothing to set-up or calibrate, one charger for camera and monitor, set to become...! It even fits my cell-phone holder, see pics....! My only suggestion to the manufacturer would exist to include a wall charger, household 120 v.

2007 Dodge 2500 with camper shell. Read reviews. It is a great camera to assistance you support and claw upwards trailer. NOT for rear view photographic camera on road trip. If it is a bright day, y'all have to hold monitor in the shade of cab to really see. Ready photographic camera, back up, connect trailer, remove camera and return to box till next time. Simple.

After receiving I did non install on my trailer for several months until later I removed the fading stickers and re-polished the exterior. I was very excited to buy and receive until I installed information technology and started using. I am not very happy with the camera. I installed it on the dorsum of my 24' trailer and tapped power from the top center running light. The video brandish on my IPhone is grainy, inclement and freezes after about a minute of use. During daytime use I have to plough the running lights off so back on to reset the camera after about a minute of use. I cant see at all when I am backing up if its dark, even with the extra lights I installed on the back of my trailer. I wish I was happier with the performance. I do not recommend.

Wow - The VueSmartRV and Trailer Fill-in Photographic camera is exactly what I needed! It's like a Trunk-cam for my highwall popup trailer. I cannot see behind the trailer at all, when in reverse. This saves me from having to become out to appraise and reassess my environment. The WiFi signal hands connects to my Moto Z2 (Android) phone through the Hopkins Towing Solutions App. What I like near the camera is that it provides a clear picture of the view behind my popup and there'south no filibuster or choppiness in its motility. I reversed the subclass so that the marker light is located under the camera. In my example, I benefit most from such a setup since my spare tire blocks the lower portion of my field of view on the screen.

For the price, you can't beat it. I only installed it. Other than the sensors and distance lines being a piffling wacky, I tin back directly to my trailer hitch, and that beats getting in and out of the truck 20 times. Relatively easy install on my 2001 Chevy.

worked slap-up on my 2013 silverado. only issue i had was the adhesive for the mounting pad did not hold up very well in the heat. used some double backed gorrilla tape to fix it
although the truck is now sold, product was a good fit for an aftermarket add together on worked great while I had information technology

The product nevertheless works very well for my purposes a yr in. The only outcome Ive experienced is that at nighttime-fourth dimension, there is an LED light that stays on, and considering it is white, information technology blinds those behind me. I wound up selling the trailer a few months ago and sold the camera with it. Although I never tried it, I came to empathise that that there is a setting inside the App, which can turn that light off.
